If your flight arrives between 6-8 am we recommend the fixed schedule bus instead as it is cheaper and more comfortable. The minibus transfer can be booked for anytime, for any number of people. It is a share taxi, so other people going to Hakuba may also be on board. The transer is usually done in a 11 seater minibus. • The cost is ¥14,900 one way, or ¥29,800 return + ¥1,000/group for the airport meet. • It will pick up at the airport and drop you off at your accommodation in Hakuba. The accommodation can be anywhere in Hakuba • The driver will meet you at the airport arrival lobby with a name signcard. • The taxi typically takes 4 hours to reach Hakuba, and return is the same. • Bookings need to be made at least 7 days in advance. • It is not necessarily a direct route, the bus may make small detours to drop off passengers at other locations. • You may be required to change to another vehicle (the other vehicle will be waiting so it will be hop off, hop on. • In case of the bus being cancelled due to mechanical breakdown or weather conditions we will do our best to help you make alternative arrangements but our liability will be limited to refunding you in full the amount you paid for the transfer.

Getting to Hakuba by public transport

It is possible and can be a little cheaper to make your own way by public transport. Beware though, this involves at least 3 transfers and usually a combination of train & bus so can be time consuming.
