Mt Hakuba Backpackers is the "happening" place in Hakuba. It is centrally located in the "downtown" district of Echoland and there are numerous bars, restaurants,the Ninja ski rental shop and a convenience shop all within a few minutes walk. A free continental b reakfast is included daily as well as free yummy bar meals in the inhouse bar that is always lively, plus to we throw in a free welcome drink for you at the bar. Please note that since it is a licensed premises there is no BYO alcohol. Free shuttle buses leave a minute walk away to all of the ski resorts and the airport shuttle bus stop is a 3 min walk

Directions

If you are coming on a package you will probably want to use the airport transfers from Narita or Haneda which take between 4-6 hrs. If not then you will need to use public transport, please see the following link on how best to do this. The backpackers does have a free pick up/drop off to/from the bus/train station between 8am and 8pm daily (please call mobile phone number 070- 43748-414 on arrival in Hakuba).
